ABSTRACT:
Great ability is required to make software evolve. Unfortunately, current programming languages and environments provide little help to maintain, understand, and refine software.
This presentation will review different linguistic constructs and programming tools related to software evolution. It will cover Classboxes, Traits, Reverse Generic, and Moose.
BIO:
Alexandre Bergel is Assistant Professor at the University of Chile. He obtained his PhD in 2005 from the University of Berne, Switzerland and realized two postdocs, at the Trinity College Dublin and at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute.
