How to get to Lugano
By plane and train
The quickest way to get to Lugano from most places abroad will be through Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP). There is a train connection (S50, ~every 30 minutes) that will bring you to Lugano directly. https://www.tilo.ch/collegamenti/S50.html
As an alternative you might consider flying to Zurich Airport (ZRH) and use the train to travel to Lugano; this would be a 3-hour ride, with a change at Zürich HB.
By car
