The City of Lugano has presented its strategy for promoting digital growth through 2030. This initiative will be supported by an ethical and scientific committee that includes Prof. Luca Maria Gambardella, a Full Professor at the USI Faculty of Informatics and Pro-Rector for Innovation and Corporate Relations. He was recently interviewed on Rete Uno's Radiogiornale (RSI).

This transformation involves not only the administration, but all citizens. To succeed, it will be important to gain the trust of the latter, while respecting the wishes of those who remain sceptical about new technologies.

In this new development, the City will work alongside a committee that will monitor its progress, suggest new approaches, and identify potential risks. "We are independent professionals from various fields, and we bring our expertise—sometimes critically—to ensure that this strategy successfully achieves its objectives," explained Professor Luca Maria Gambardella, member of the ethics and scientific committee.
