Neural Wave - Hackathon in AI

From October 25 to 27, 2024, the first edition of the Neural Wave hackathon will take place at the Aula Magna of the University of Italian Switzerland (USI) in Lugano, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence (AI).

The event will bring together extraordinary minds from all over Switzerland and beyond, aiming to compete and create innovative AI solutions to real-world problems, providing them with a platform to apply their skills in AI, machine learning, and data science.

Thanks to committed sponsors such as USI, Duferco, Bosch, Swisscom and Lightning.AI, who are at the forefront of AI innovation, there will be representatives who will not only serve as mentors throughout the event, but will also offer students invaluable insights into the latest industry trends and technologies. These partnerships also open doors for participants to showcase their talents directly to industry leaders, potentially leading to internship and job opportunities.

With a total prize pool of over 5,000 Swiss francs in monetary value, the winning teams will receive cash prizes and have the opportunity to present their projects to an international audience, gaining recognition from top companies.
