SI Seminar by Valerie Burgener

Istituto del software

Data: 19 Maggio 2022 / 16:30 - 17:30

React 101

Abstract:
React is a component-based framework in JavaScript to create user interfaces and it’s still growing in adoption and Dev Tools download rate. Looking at growth charts reveals: That thing is - justified or not - really popular. This leads to more usage, more people doing mistakes, and more demand for React-based applications. Therefore it can’t hurt to learn a bit more about React (even if it’s just to have a more informed opinion on why you want to stay away from it). This talk will provide a general overview of the framework, look into some common misconceptions, boil an easter egg, present react design patterns, and offer a quick look into React frameworks such as Create React App, Next.js, and the freshman Remix.
