Giovanni Toffetti Carughi is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Lugano.
He received a European Ph.D. in Ingegneria dell'Informazione from Politecnico di Milano in 2007.
He is author of several articles published in international conferences and workshops in the Web and software engineering field. His research interests include modeling and automatic code generation for data-intensive Web applications, event-driven systems, content-based routing, model-based testing, distributed systems, and mobile applications.
Previously Giovanni worked both as a developer for WebRatio and as analyst and consultant developing different industrial Web applications such as Acer-Euro portals, ABI-Pattichiari, and Nortel-Consip.
