ABOUT
I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Informatics of Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano. My main research interests relates to, but are not limited to, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing, Parallel Runtimes and Virtual Machines. I mostly worked on the efficient implementation of parallel runtimes for dynamic languages and their integration with existing or novel frameworks, using both implicit and explicit parallelization techniques. As a PhD student I have been in charge of actively performing system research, managing my duties in order to meet deadlines, flexibly work and coordinate with other academics and researchers, as well as working as a teaching assistant for several courses.

As a visiting student at Oracle Labs I have been in charge of the design, implementation and evaluation of a parallel programming module in the context of the Node.JS runtime, exploring the possible impact and value of such a project.
