About me

I work currently in the Faculty of Informatics at the USI (Università della Svizzera Italiana) in Lugano, Switzerland.

I recently moved to the University of Chile, where my future website will be located at: http://www.dcc.uchile.cl/~rrobbes/. At the moment, it is under construction, so your best resource about me is still this site. This should not last long, however.

I graduated from the Ph.D. program at USI on December 1st, 2008, under the direction of Michele Lanza.

I work in Software Engineering, in the domain of Software Evolution. During my Ph.D., I introduced a model of software evolution placing change at the center of the evolution instead of the more common concept of the version, and validated the effectiveness of this concept in several forward and reverse engineering applications.
